Whether you're a singer, actor, dancer or band musician, or prefer to work behind the scenes with lighting, set design or sound we're sure you'll find something rewarding at Lights, Music, Action! There's something for all ages and all levels of experience....

LMA Stage School

Although initially conceived with the younger student in mind, The LMA weekly Stage School also offers classes for those in their late teens and adults of all ages. There is no audition to become an LMA student, nor do singers need to read music: The only requirements are enthusiasm and absolute dedication.

LMA International Summer Schools

In 1996 the week-long "Lights, Music, Action!" Summer School took the world by storm, offering young performing artists a chance to experience life on, off and back-stage. Such was the success of the LMA Summer School that in 2003 an additional course was set-up for adults. In 2005 we celebrated our 10th Year Summer School! In 2007 we moved to our NEW venue at Framlingham College.

Voice Squad

In 1992 a tiny choir was formed to give 10 young private singing students a new outlet for their enjoyment. This grew to become The Voice Squad as it is now known – a Performing Arts Troupe with a long list of awards and public appearances to its name.

Thurs 6th Dec - VS Cadets opening of Christmas Tree festival - Trinity Methodist Church, Brentgrovel St, Bury St Edmunds. Meet 5.10pm perform 5.30 - 6.30pm.

Sat 8th Dec - Broadway Trinity Exams & Voice Squad Christmas Concert - Venues to be Confirmed.

Sat 9th Feb 2008 - Dance, MegaVox and Soul Divas Showcase (all groups) - PAC King Ed VI Upper 7pm

Sat 15th March - Senior Musical 'Llamas in Space' - Lower Hall King Ed VI Upper 7pm

Sun 16th March - Senior Musical 'Llamas in Space' - Lower Hall King Ed VI Upper 2.30pm & 7pm.

Sat 17th May - Footlights Acting and LMA Stage Band (all groups) - PAC King Ed VI Upper 7pm

Sat 5th July - Children's Musical (groups A and B Acting, Megavox, Broadway, Dance Jnr and Int) - Lower Hall King Ed VI Upper 7pm. Accompanied by LMA Stage Band
